This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
1 John 1:5-7 NASB2020
Sin destroys your fellowship with God. If you can’t hear God’s voice, it’s not because He’s incapable of speaking to you. Sin separates us from God. Repentance, turning away from sin, and confession, admitting our wrongs, restores us to right relationship with God.
Before we come to faith, we have no fellowship with God. We are in utter darkness. We are spiritually deaf, blind and mute. We have no power and no purpose. We are worthless to God.
Jesus, our Savior, shed His blood on the Cross of Calvary as a sacrificial offering to appease the wrath of God towards sin so that by believing in Jesus as the Son of God, we can be saved and delivered from the wrath of God, once and for all.
Believing in Jesus is called having faith. Repentance is an outward sign of our faith. Actions speak louder than words. Confession is speaking forth what is in our hearts. If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is God’s only begotten Son, you will be saved.
We are not saved by our works. Our works are a witness of what we believe in our hearts to be true. If we continue willfully in sin, it shows that our words are lies and the truth is not in us.
Disobedience is sin. If we disobey God’s commandments it shows we don’t have any fellowship with God. God commands us to love like He loves. He commands us to go and make disciples. He commands us to teach them to obey everything that Christ taught us. This isn’t complicated. We just make excuses to remain in our sin. Let it be no more.
It’s time for the Church in America to repent of its sin. It’s time to confess to God that we have been blind guides leading the blind. It’s time to turn back to King Jesus and be healed and delivered from darkness.
The shadow of death weighs heavily upon the land. People are in fear. They worry constantly. They attack, slander and steal from each other. This is not a Christian nation. Stop deceiving yourselves. Believers from all nations are coming here to act as missionaries because we have gone astray and led the whole world into our fatally flawed way of life, excessive worldliness and selfish ambition.
The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Greedy and soulless corporations bribe the government to do its bidding. Who will stand and do the right thing?
It starts with us. It starts with God’s Church. We must be a constant witness and practitioners of righteousness. Without us, there is no hope for the world to repent, confess Jesus Christ is Lord, and be healed and delivered from the soon coming destruction of the created world.
Lord Jesus, have mercy on us and forgive us of our sins. Restore us to right relationship with You. Lead us and guide us through Your Holy Spirit so that we may live again and bring glory to You. Amen.
The King is coming back again. Will He find faith working through love here? It’s up to us to obey. There is no other way.
If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
