The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

Certainly, we work hard and struggle to live a godly life, because we place our confidence in the living God. He is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.

Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord. This fact has been established since before Creation began. Before the Big Bang, He was. Today, He still is. Forever, He will be. There’s no way around the fact that everything that exists was created by Him, through Him, for Him. Even you. Even me.
In our ignorance and foolishness, we can deny God and His authority. The time for ignorance is over. The time to surrender is upon us.
Jesus is coming back like a thief in the night. Without warning, suddenly, it will be too late to repent. Judgment will be upon us. Fire will be thrown upon the Earth and everything will be burned up in an instant. Only what is of God will remain.
He will save His disciples, those clothed in robes of white. Those who deny Him, He will deny. Those who announced His coming, He will welcome into the place He has prepared for them.
God is coming back again to rescue His children from the world of sin. The curse will finally be broken and Paradise which was lost in the fall will be found again. A new heaven and a new earth.
The curse came from the first sin of mankind. The first sin was disobedience. There is nothing new under the sun. Every sin is disobedience. What is the opposite of sin? Obeying God. There’s no wiggle room, only grace. Grace is not meant to be abused to excuse our lifestyles of compromise and lackluster effort to abide in Christ.
Repent. The Kingdom of God is at hand.
God is for everyone. God is for everybody. Jesus is the Savior of all. Anyone who calls upon the Name of the Lord will be saved. Go tell in on the mountain. Shout it from the rooftops. Tell every man, woman and child. Jesus is for you. He’s not against you. He already paid the price for the forgiveness of sins. All you have to do is believe it and receive it.
Are you ready? Pray with me. And then go share the Good News with everyone you see.
Father in Heaven, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to die on a cross to bear the penalty for my sin, my disobedience of Your commandments. Forgive me of all my sin right now. I confess I have not loved You with all my life. I confess that I have not loved my neighbors as I love myself. I confess I have not loved my brothers and sisters in Christ the same way that Jesus does. Forgive me. Wash me clean from my sin. Today, I start again afresh, as if it never happened. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Guide me by Your Holy Spirit. Never take Your Holy Spirit away from me. You are my Lord and I am Your child, under Your care. Save me forever and give me strength to obey, I pray, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
