I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.1 Timothy 2:1-4 NLT
God loves everyone and desires that they be saved and know the truth. The world is an unholy mess right now. We who have a sincere faith and pure hearts can pray with a clear conscience and know that God hears our prayers.
God is love. We pray to the God of Love to intervene. If we know God, we know God’s nature. He is the God of Peace and the God of Order. His heart is to reconcile all humanity to Himself through Jesus Christ.
We need to be praying now more than ever. Pray that God’s will be done. Pray specifically for the people God has placed in your lives. The god of this world, the enemy of our souls, seeks to deceive and enslave people into sin, also known as disobeying the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus wants us to obey the will of our Father in Heaven. Jesus is praying for us. He intercedes day and night. He never sleeps nor slumbers. He is continuously praying for us that our faith will not fail.
Faith is what life and eternal life are all about. Without faith we are lost and have no hope. We are in utter darkness, doomed to destruction. With faith, all things are ours. With faith, all things are possible. With faith, we can be restored to everlasting fellowship with God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pray for Ukraine. Pray for Russia. Pray that God intervenes. Pray for peace. Pray for an end to the demonic reign of godless men. Pray that those who don’t know Jesus will have someone share the Gospel with them, and that their spiritual blindness will be removed. Pray that everyone will have a chance to repent and turn to God before they die. Pray for the lost. Pray for the Church. Pray for yourselves.
May God have mercy on us all.
Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. Elijah was as human as we are, and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for three and a half years! Then, when he prayed again, the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops.James 5:13-18 NLT
