I pray that according to the wealth of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, so that, because you have been rooted and grounded in love, you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and thus to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

To know God’s love, which surpasses understanding, is to experience the fullness of God. Simply put, God loves us in a way that is beyond human comprehension and reasoning. He loved us when we were His enemies. He loved us when we were lost in our sin. He loved us so much that He sacrificed His only begotten Son to make a way for us to be reconciled with a holy and righteous God.
It is through Christ that we can boldly approach the throne of grace and pray to our Heavenly Father. We have been adopted into His family, His Church, by grace through faith. Faith is a gift from God. No one comes to the Father unless He draws them. Our salvation isn’t our idea, it’s His.
Many are being drawn sovereignly by God’s Spirit into a relationship with their Creator. Revival is breaking out all over as people are repenting of going their own way, living according to this present world’s wisdom, and turning to follow God and His Spirit.
I’m seeing it everyday. God is moving with power. Salvation, healing, deliverance, Holy Spirit baptism, speaking in tongues, words of wisdom, words of knowledge, prophecy and the like are natural expressions of God through His people as they are moved with compassion to minister one to another.
God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. The power of God moves at the speed of compassion. Without God’s love motivating us, everything we do is worthless. Without God’s Spirit leading us, everything we do is a waste of time. Unless the Lord builds the house, the laborers labor in vain. We are the house of God.
Love is the fullest expression of God’s nature. He shares His divine nature with us. Let everything you do be done in love. Let everything you do be done in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Everything Jesus did was birthed from compassion. Everything He did was done in obedience to the Father. The Father’s will is love.
What is the opposite of God’s love? Is it bitterness? Is it apathy? Is it hate? Is it fear? Is it selfishness? Is it pride? Is it living according to the flesh? Whatever it is that is getting in the way of you being an embodiment of God’s love, repent. Confess as sin where you have not been living according to the truth and get back on track. There is no judgment, only correction for the building up of the Body in love.
Jesus is coming back for a pure and spotless Bride. Cleanse yourself according to His Word. Be healed. Be delivered. Be set free from the sin that so easily besets you. God loves you. Always has. Always will. Know His love and know the fullness of God as He fills all things with Himself.
Father in Heaven, You alone are worthy of praise. You alone deserve the glory. Forgive us for desiring the praise of men instead of the praise of God. Forgive us for glorifying mere humans instead of You. Give us a fresh understanding of Your love which knows no bounds. Let us love fearlessly. Let us walk in Your grace and compassion. Let everything we do be done in Your Name, in Your love, for Your glory. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
