Receive The Kingdom

I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.

Mark 10:15 NLT

The Kingdom of God operates on the principles of giving and receiving. Every good gift comes from above. God is the Creator of everything in Heaven and on Earth. He is the giver of life. The giver of eternal life. The giver of spiritual gifts. God is the giver. We are the receivers.

How do children receive gifts? Do they count the cost? Do they feel indebted to repay the kindness? Do they wonder what’s the catch? Do they view the gift as a bribe or coercion? Or do they joyfully receive what is given without any pretext? Do they trust that the giver meant to give away freely the gift for their benefit and enjoyment?

What does God want us to do today? Receive the Kingdom. Receive it with joy. Trust that God has prepared a place for you in eternity with Him with all those who call upon His Name. There is a place in Heaven for those who believe, those who receive the Kingdom in the here and now.

How do you receive the Kingdom? By faith. Faith is believing God at His word. God cannot lie, so whatever He says is true. You can abandon critical and analytical thinking and simply trust everything He says to be true and right.

God wants to lead you in this life by His Spirit. He places the Holy Spirit in you when you believe in Him. You become a new creation in Christ. You are reborn from above.

How do you receive the Kingdom? You have to believe. Doubt closes your mind and your heart from freely receiving from God.

How do you receive the Kingdom? Ask, and you shall receive. By prayer we commune with God. Prayer is communication with the Divine One, the sending and receiving of messages in the spiritual realm. In the Kingdom, we listen to our King with spiritual ears.

God wants to welcome everyone into His Kingdom. Do you wish to enter in? Receive it like a child and live forever.

We have come too far to turn back now. Decide once and for all who you will trust. Trust Jesus. He is the only one who will not lead you astray. He is the good shepherd who leads His sheep. Leave the past behind. Trust that the blood of Jesus is sufficient for our redemption from sin. Trust the Holy Spirit to lead you and guide you in daily life. Abide in Christ.

Heavenly Father, we come to You as Your beloved children this day. Erase all the lies of the enemy that we have believed and acted upon. Free us from the spirit of deception. Reveal to us Your heart and Your plans for us. We wish to enter into the Kingdom of God. We wish to receive the Kingdom like pure and innocent children. Cleanse us from worldly thinking and worldly habits. Remove fear, doubt, worry and cynicism from our hearts. Let us be new creations in Christ this day. Put in our hearts an unshakeable faith that You are the One True God and the Savior of the world. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.

He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

John 1:10‭-‬13 NLT
