For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God.
Romans 8:14 NASB2020
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23 NASB2020
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.”
Matthew 5:9 NASB2020
If you are being led by the Spirit, then the fruit of the Spirit’s presence in your life will be evident to all. You don’t produce the fruit. The Spirit does, as you abide in Christ.
How do you abide? How do you remain in Him? Remain in love. Receive the love of the Father. Let it transform you. With your roots firmly planted in the knowledge of God’s love, you will be gently guided by the Spirit to spread that love.
Love brings joy with it. Joy yields peace. Sons and daughters of God are led by the Spirit. Full of love and joy, they are peacemakers. They spread the message that Christ has made peace for us with God the Father.
It’s time for the Church to shake off the dust of religion and pick up her cross. We are no longer bound to live according to the flesh. We are commissioned as ambassadors of Christ to rightly represent Him in the here and now.
Quit waiting for Heaven. Now is the time to do God’s will on Earth. Let Him lead you. Lose your agenda. He will guide. And where He guides, He provides. Trust God and do His will. And peace will reign in your hearts.
Father, forgive us for going astray and trying to live life according to man’s wisdom. To know You is to know the source of all knowledge and wisdom. Lead us and guide us, day by day, into the fullness of Your love. Transform our hearts to be just like Yours. In the Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
