The secret sauce to a life well lived is the love of God flowing through our beings, unrestricted by judgment, worry or fear. It simply flows. Like water through a hose, when the hose is connected and the water is on.
There’s something about being known by God, being loved by God, being transparent and vulnerable before Him as we confess our most embarrassing failures and mistakes, that we make over and over, only to receive His grace every time. It changes you.
Be known. Be loved. Love others with the grace, mercy and love that you have received from God.
Be known. Be loved. Walk in authentic fellowship with other believers, encouraging and praying for one another.
Be known. Be loved. Know your true identity.
Repeat after me, “I am known. I am loved, by God and by people that love God.”
How does that feel? How does that help with discernment?
Father in Heaven, thank You that You have made Yourself known to us. Help us to know how much we are loved by You. Help us to remind others how much You love them, too, with our words and our actions. Amen.
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.
