For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.

Peace.
Be still.
And know that I AM.
God is inviting us to agree with His wisdom and His ways. If you do not enter His rest, and cease from striving in your own strength and wisdom, you will suffer the consequences of your disobedience.
Those consequences? Lack of peace and rest for your soul.
So let us examine ourselves and see if we are still in the faith. Are we experiencing the peace of God that surpasses all understanding?
What does that mean? Experience the presence of God, continuously.
Experiencing peace with God is not an intellectual achievement like attaining enlightenment. It doesn’t come from studying. It comes from remaining in a loving relationship with God.
In His presence is the fullness of joy. Are you resting in God’s presence? Are you experiencing joy in spite of your trials and tribulations? Is knowing and experiencing the love of God bringing you unspeakable joy that the world cannot understand?
Focus on your walk with God. That’s your responsibility in this life and the next.
Focus on your relationship with God. That is the source of everything you will ever need in this life and the next.
The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. What does that mean? The Sabbath is meant to serve us. It is meant to bring us refreshment and wisdom for life as we cease from laboring and enjoy the Lord’s presence and hear from Him.
The devil has deceived religious people into serving traditions instead of God.
Peace.
Be still.
Rest. Do nothing from carnality. Do nothing from the flesh. Let the Spirit lead you.
It pleases your Father in Heaven when you eagerly obey His instructions.
The instructions are meant to serve the greater good, not become an idol of law apart from the Spirit’s instruction. We have the Law, because we wouldn’t listen to God. The Law was fulfilled and has passed away. The requirements have never changed, hear and obey the Lord.
Do you want to know God’s will for your life? It is to do God’s will continuously. You rest from you. You do His will, He takes care of you.
If you think that you have to take care of you, then the devil’s already got you. You’ve abandoned your faith and trust in God.
Read what is written in Scripture. Ask the Holy Spirit what it means.
Now is the time to worship.
Worship him with your life. All day. Everyday. That is the way and the life.
What are we doing?
Father in Heaven, forgive us of our continuous, habitual sin of turning away from You and not listening to Your voice, the Holy Spirit. Possess Your Church, O God. We are Your possession, purchased by the blood of Christ. We yield to the Lordship of Christ this day, You are the Head of Your Church. Speak, Your servants are listening. Amen.
For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.
