Wickedness never brings stability, but the godly have deep roots.
Proverbs 12:3 NLT
What is wickedness? Whatever God says it is. What is righteousness? Whatever God says to you.
What is godliness? It is being like God. What is worldliness? It is being a slave of the evil one.
What does God want you to become? Exactly like Him. With regards to love.
What is love? God is love.
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NLT
How deep is your love? Declare it prophetically.
In the Scripture verses above, insert your name everywhere love and it is.
How deep is your love? Does it reflect the glory of the Lord’s presence in your heart?
Father in Heaven, we pray that Your Church will become just like You, in regards to love. We pray that everyone of Your adopted children can declare truthfully that “I am patient and I am kind. I am not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. I do not demand my own way. I am not irritable, and I keep no record of being wronged. I do not rejoice about injustice but rejoice whenever the truth wins out. I never give up, I never lose faith, I am always hopeful, and I endure through every circumstance.” Let Your Word be performed in our lives, through our lives, by Your Spirit, for Your glory. Amen
All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.
God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.
Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. We love each other because he loved us first.
If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see? And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers.
1 John 4:15-21 NLT
