Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor.
Proverbs 21:21 NLT
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Matthew 6:33 NLT
God is birthing a movement in the Body of Christ.
It’s a return to holiness.
It’s a return to fellowship.
It’s a return to the King.
Abide in His Presence.
The King isn’t a micromanager. He’s not a control freak. He empowers His servants to do His will as the Spirit leads. More than anything, He just wants you to know how much you are loved by Him and He wants you to be a conduit of His love to other people.
If you live a holy life, wholly dedicated to the Lord, He will take care of all the worldly details in your life. I know it’s true because Jesus said it. Plus, I’ve tested it out experientially, and it holds up. God takes care of His children who don’t run away from His Presence by willfully sinning.
What is sin? Anything not motivated by the love of God.
What we fail to recognize is that we belong to each other. We’re not solo free agents doing whatever we want. We’re all part of the whole. If one part suffers, we all suffer. If one part is trapped in sin, we all suffer. If one part doesn’t pick up their cross daily, we all suffer. If one part is disobedient to the will of God, we all suffer.
Conversely, if one part repents, we all rejoice. If one part is obedient to the Spirit’s leading, we’re all blessed. If one part loves another part, we are all better for it. Love is the connecting piece. The Bible just tells us what real love is.
What is this next move of God?
It’s love, plain and simple.
Just love, people.
Just love people.
If you can’t do that, you’re wasting your time and we’re all suffering for it.
The Father loves us. The Good News declares it.
The Church is God’s love in human form. It’s alive. It’s always circulating. If love is not being given and received, you’re not in a church service. The service is for the church, not the church for the service.
We’ve got it backwards in America. We’ve enslaved ourselves to repeating empty rituals that have no power to transform our hearts. The audience isn’t listening. The audience isn’t being equipped. The audience is being told to sit and be quiet and watch.
How does that facilitate building up one another in love? We’re all called to be ministers of grace and preachers of the Gospel.
Why is the head coach hogging the ball with all the players on the sidelines and in the stands? A good father equips their children to go out and be successful. We’re training people to be losers.
Thank God God won’t allow that much longer.
Don’t go to church. Be the Church.
We’re all suffering.
Father, thank You for shutting down the world temporarily. May we return to honest worship and genuine praise. Lead us out of the shadows of yesteryear and into the glorious future of Oneness with You. Amen.
“You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me! Yet you refuse to come to me to receive this life.”
