Are you wondering which path to take?
God can show you.
Do you sometimes not know what to do in a certain situation? That happened to me today. I was a little flabbergasted. But it passed.
I phoned a friend and during our conversation the Lord deposited the truth adjustment I needed to let go of my worries and trust God.
Discerning God’s will in the moment is a skill that can be developed. Just like prophecy, we practice with others who hear from God to develop confidence that we’re hearing accurately.
When I obey, God blesses other people. When I disobey, I’m robbing others of a blessing that they desperately need.
Being a follower of Jesus in reality means having a relationship with the Holy Spirit who lives inside you.
Learn to recognize the voice of God.
He loves you. He has a plan and a purpose for your life. When you’re living in agreement with God’s will, there’s nothing more invigorating than his love flowing out of you.
What’s your next step of faith?
Ask God.
Who do You want me to love today? How do You want them to feel? What do You want them to know? How can I partner with You in this?
See what He says. You might surprise yourself. You can hear God after all.
Be blessed, Church. And be a blessing for Christ’s sake. He’s the One doing the work. We’re just dancing in rhythm to the conductor of our souls.
Father, may the things of this world grow strangely dim in the light of your glory and grace. Amen.
Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.
