See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.
Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure.
Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God.

What is the law of God?
Love one another.
What is sin? Disobeying God.
Anything that is not rooted in loving one another like Christ loves the Church is sin.
When you disobey your Father, ignoring what He says to you, you fall short of the glory of God, the fullness of Christ.
Sin shows that we have not yet fully grasped who we are yet, and what we are destined to become.
If you sin, confess it. Confess it to who you sinned against. Ask them to forgive you. Explain what you did wrong and are remorseful about. Show them how a mature believer acts.
Allow me to demonstrate.
Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned against myself, everyone I know, everyone around me, and against God and Heaven.
Relieve me of my debt of sin, O God, and humanity, for I have not fully walked in the love of God towards others my entire life.
Forgive me, O my soul, for violating God’s law towards myself and walking in self-loathing and self-hatred during all the years I struggled mightily with addictions and obsessive-compulsive behaviors.
Thank You, Father, for forgiving my sins. Now, restore an upright spirit within me. Thank You, O Lord, for covering all my sins in the blood of Jesus, who washes us clean, as pure and white as snow.
I bow my knee to Heaven and humble myself under Your mighty hand, Lord Yeshua. Be near to me, O God. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Give me Your power. The power to love. Amen.
Love one another. Then you will fulfill the Royal Law. We are all sons and daughters of the King. Act like royalty. Act like Jesus. Think like Jesus. You have the mind of Christ. Use it.
Father in Heaven, reveal Your Church. Pour out your Love through us, Christ in Us, the hope of glory. Amen.
Anyone who continues to live in him will not sin. But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is.
Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous.
But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.
Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God.
So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God.
