Know Your Role

‭‭Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?

James‬ ‭4:11‭-‬12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

A wise man once said, “You were created on purpose for a purpose.”

Do you know why God created you?

It’s certainly not to judge and criticize others in the faith. When we make ourselves judges instead of followers of the Word of God, we become like Satan, the accuser of the brethren.

Is your gift to the world the ministry of criticizing others? That’s no gift. It’s a curse. I used to live under that curse until I dealt with the generational curse of bitterness that I picked up from the perfectionist mindset that plagued my family line.

Think about it. Do you enjoy being judged before your time is up? The game’s not over yet. Wait until the final trumpet blows. Then, the only qualified Judge will separate the winners from the losers, the sheep from the goats.

Don’t be like Satan. It’s not a good look. Everyone can see through you. As Jesus and His disciples say, “Repent.”

Turn back to God for the healing of your soul and deliverance from your demons.

Do you like being unfairly criticized? Then why do that to others? That’s the application of the Golden Rule.

Until you’ve walked a mile, better yet 2 miles, in someone else’s role in the Kingdom of God, don’t even think about passing judgement.

A wise man once said, “If you have any judgement in your heart towards others, you are unqualified to intercede on their behalf.”

Let love guide your thoughts, words and actions.

That’s your role in the Kingdom.

More specifically, He called you to worship Him with your life. Don’t worship your own opinion. Worship the One who has the only opinion that matters. His Name is Faithful and True, and He’s coming back for me and you.

Be faithful, friends.

Be faithful friends.

Be faithful.

Be friends.

Are you a friend of God? He wants to be yours. He wants to reveal His secret plans to you. But only if you love Him more than your own ego.

Let’s pray.

Father in Heaven, thank You for opening my eyes to the truth. Forgive me for when I have spoken harshly and criticized others. Break off the spirit of bitterness from Your Children. Bitterness destroys everyone who eats from that tree. Let us not be bad trees bearing bad fruit. Thank You for forgiving us, Father, because You love. Let us love like You. Amen.

‭‭Try to live peacefully with everyone, and try to live holy lives, because if you don’t, you will not see the Lord. Make sure that everyone has kindness  from God so that bitterness doesn’t take root and grow up to cause trouble that corrupts many of you.

Make sure that no one commits sexual sin or is as concerned about earthly things as Esau was. He sold his rights as the firstborn son for a single meal.

You know that afterwards, when he wanted to receive the blessing that the firstborn son was to receive, he was rejected. Even though he begged and cried for the blessing, he couldn’t do anything to change what had happened.

For those who knew me personally in the past, forgive me. I’m a new creation in Christ now. He changed me.

If you want to hear my testimony, just ask. God can do anything. Even rescue sinners from certain death.
