God Wants Justice

‭‭Learn to do good. Seek justice. Arrest oppressors. Defend orphans. Plead the case of widows.

Isaiah‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭GW‬‬

God is a God of Justice. God wants justice. Not “just us.”

Justice is righting wrongs. The Law of Moses shows us examples of what good and evil are.

We know that all of the Law and the Prophets hang on two commandments. Love God and love people.

When you violate that law of love, it’s wrong. Can we love others like God loves us all the time?

I must admit I fall short of maturity, the standard of Christ, and don’t measure up on a daily basis.

Thank God we have a Savior! Thank God for grace. Thank God His mercies are new every morning.

God wants us to right what is wrong in this world. What’s wrong in this world? There’s not much love to go around. Can’t you see we’re in the land of confusion?

The lost, the hurting, the broken, the poor, the foreigner, the stranger, the outcast…

The addicted, the enslaved, the trafficked, the oppressed, the abused, the prisoner, the people who don’t do what we want them to…

They need love. God’s love.

How are they going to learn that God loves them and has the power to transform their lives?

Somebody has to show them.

Somebody has to be the hands and feet of God.

Somebody has to speak the truth in love.

His Kindness leads us to repentance. Not our judging. Not our hateful words. Not our condemnation and cancellation.

Get over yourself and your self-righteousness and serve God. How? By loving one another and praying for your enemies. Be a peacemaker not a wall builder.

Our kindness, our undeserved grace, mercy and love, will turn their hearts of stone into hearts of flesh.

Don’t punish the ignorant and immature. Love them. Why? Because God already does. Align your heart with His and you will see miracles.

Healing. Deliverance. Salvation. Holy Spirit baptism. A new life in the Kingdom. It’s for everyone. It’s God’s will that none should perish. Are we doing His will or Satan’s?

Love one another. Fulfill the law. Justice is served.

One soul at a time.

Keep loving them into the Kingdom. Vengeance belongs to the Lord.

Justice is us loving the fatherless. This nation has been destroyed from the inside out by the absence of spiritual fathering. Are we going to judge orphans for not knowing what love is?

Think about it.

Repent.

Change the way you think and act.

Make wrong things right. Love people. To them, it’s a miracle!

Rise up Church and shine.

Father in Heaven, forgive us for taking our eyes off You. Help us to see where the hurt is that You want us to heal. Let us be Your hands and feet of justice. The love of God, on earth, in bodily form. Let us be the Church of God. Amen.

‭‭The experts in Moses’ Teachings and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught committing adultery. They made her stand in front of everyone and asked Jesus, “Teacher, we caught this woman in the act of adultery. In his teachings, Moses ordered us to stone women like this to death. What do you say?”

They asked this to test him. They wanted to find a reason to bring charges against him. Jesus bent down and used his finger to write on the ground.

When they persisted in asking him questions, he straightened up and said, “The person who is sinless should be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Then he bent down again and continued writing on the ground. One by one, beginning with the older men, the experts in Moses’ Teachings and Pharisees left.

Jesus was left alone with the woman. Then Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Where did they go? Has anyone condemned you?”

The woman answered, “No one, sir.”

Jesus said, “I don’t condemn you either. Go! From now on don’t sin.”
