Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.
Matthew 5:7 NASB2020
God designed you to be an extension of His divine nature into humanity. As sons and daughters of God, we are destined to grow up and mature into Christlikeness. Unless we refuse to cooperate with God’s will by rejecting the Lordship of Christ.
You can only serve one master.
Jesus wants you to be just like Him, in regards to love and character. He is your Head and your Heart.
Study the words of Christ Jesus, Our Savior King. If you agree with them, and act on them, you’re in some very good company. You’re in the Kingdom of God. A new reality has come and all things are being made new.
We know that you reap what you sow. Whatever measure you use to judge others will be used to judge you. Do you want mercy or punishment? Go and do likewise, because that’s what you’ll get.
If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Matthew 6:14-15 NLT
Forgiveness is the key to the Kingdom. The Father forgave us. Mercy flows from Heaven. We are seated in heavenly places. Christ invites us to sit with Him on His throne. When we are in Christ, Christ is in us. We become One with Him and His Father.
The permanence of this marriage with the Godhead will be sealed on Judgment Day, the Day of the Lord. Until that day appears, when the fullness of glory is revealed, we are still susceptible to stumbling.
Do you want to be judged before your time is up?
Neither do I. I’m a work in progress. The under construction sign is out. Pardon our dust. We really are spiritual creatures but sometimes you can’t see it for all the dust in the air.
Judge not, lest ye be judged. Mercy rules the day. And a day is coming when we will no longer work.
Until that time, forgive the failures of others as Christ has forgiven you. That’s what we gotta do to keep that Kingdom coming.
Father in Heaven, forgive us our sins as we forgive others. Help us to be mature in the Lord. Amen.
Blessed [content, sheltered by God’s promises] are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.
