I’m a firm believer in the power of practicing the truth of God’s Word.
For example, look at that Scripture verse above and ask yourself, “What is the condition of my heart?”
Are you troubled? Then pray. This pleases God.
Are you rejoicing? Then praise God. This also pleases God.
He always enjoys hearing from you. He has nothing else that’s more important than being with you, hearing your heart, and sharing His with you.
What do you not see there?
Advice encouraging you to grumble and complain.
Brothers and sisters, stop complaining about each other, or you will be condemned. Realize that the judge is standing at the door.
James 5:9 GW
We are One Body of believers. God’s grace is for all of us. Extend the grace, mercy and forgiveness you’ve received from Christ to others.
Do everything without complaining or arguing.
Then you will be blameless and innocent. You will be God’s children without any faults among people who are crooked and corrupt. You will shine like stars among them in the world as you hold firmly to the word of life. Then I can brag on the day of Christ that my effort was not wasted and that my work produced results.
Philippians 2:14-16 GW
God is changing us into His likeness, from glory to glory. Be patient with one another. We’re all works in progress.
If you see something amiss, pray. If you say something amiss, apologize. God’s at work. Trust that He will make all things right.
So admit your sins to each other, and pray for each other so that you will be healed. Prayers offered by those who have God’s approval are effective.
James 5:16 GW
Be a peacemaker. Go low. Be humble. God’s servants suffer willingly for righteousness’ sake.
We may be right, we may be persecuted for doing the Lord’s work, but Christ is our example. Forgive them, for they know not what they do.
Walk in peace. Walk in love.
No one knows your trouble, but I do, says the Lord.
Peace be still. Let the Lord work. Our time will come. Now, we stand in faith.
Father, forgive us for when we go astray. Let us be peacemakers today. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
Let the healing begin. Amen.
My brothers and sisters, if one of you wanders from the truth, someone can bring that person back. Realize that whoever brings a sinner back from the error of his ways will save him from death, and many sins will be forgiven.
