The Temple Of God

But the person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him.

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The Temple where God was worshiped consisted of the Outer Court, Inner Court and the Holy of Holies.

The Temple was torn down and replaced with the New Covenant. Now, we are the Temple.

The Outer Court is our body. It’s visible to the outside world.

The Inner Court is our soul. That’s invisible to the outside world but full of activity and fellowship.

The Holy of Holies is our spirit. That’s where we meet face to face with God.

Mortals who are not pure and holy will die in the Presence of God. Thankfully, Jesus makes us righteous by our faith in Him. The veil has been torn. Now, we can all commune directly with God in our spirits.

Our spirits are born of an incorruptible seed, the Word of God.

Your soul can been corrupted. Your mind, will and emotions can be assaulted by mortals and defiled by demons.

Your body can be corrupted. Our bodies decay and die. People can assault and disrespect our bodies. Sickness and disease still exist under the curse.

Your spirit is impervious to the enemy. He has no power there. That’s where the Kingdom of God is.  Live the Spirit directed life. Live from your spirit into your soul through your body into the outside world.

Talk with God. Walk with God. Talk with people. Walk with people.

Rejoice in your salvation.

Father in Heaven, thank You for redeeming us from a life of sin by the blood of Jesus. May we all be born again of the Spirit of God, the incorruptible seed of God, that gives eternal life to those who believe. Thank You for choosing us from before the foundations of the world to be Your Beloved Children. Sanctity us and make us holy, righteous and pure in Your sight. Amen.

Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.
