The Children of Abraham

‭‭Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.

Galatians 3:14 NLT‬‬

The Pharisees thought they were the children of Abraham based on their heritage.

God says that those who believe that Jesus Christ is Lord are the true children of Abraham based on their hearts.

‭‭If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 10:9-10 NLT‬‬

Trust, listen and obey.

Trust that Jesus Christ is Lord. Trust that God the Father has good plans for us. Trust the Holy Spirit to lead you into the fullness of Christ as you walk humbly with the Lord.

Listen to God’s Word and do what it says. Jesus is the Word. The Bible is the written Word of God. The Holy Spirit takes what Jesus says and reminds us of it. We can have a real relationship with God through the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

Obey God’s Word. In general, the Bible gives us the plan and purposes of God for humanity as He created them, male and female. Specifically, the rhema Word of God, manna from Heaven, is our daily spiritual bread. Walking with God is being led by God daily.

Rejoice in your salvation. God is in charge and He picked you to be on His team for eternity!

Now that’s some Good News that’s worth talking about. Share what the Lord is saying to you with the people in your life. Build one another up in the most holy faith. It’s fun for the whole family!

Let’s have a roundtable discussion. Put all the pieces together. God will confirm every word He says with two or more witnesses. That’s why He sent His disciples out two by two. How can we improve on God’s plan? We can’t. Simply obey Him and see what happens.

I guarantee you’ll like the results. All glory goes to God.

And if you mess up, don’t worry, just dust yourself off and try again. There’s grace in abundance. Greater than all our sin.

It’s time to begin again.

Amen?

Father in Heaven, we rejoice in what Jesus has done for us. Thank You for giving us the keys to the Kingdom. Thank You for giving us the priceless gift of faith. May we use it wisely and not miserly, sharing freely what we have received free of charge. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.

‭‭Does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you through your own efforts or through believing what you heard?

Abraham serves as an example. He believed God, and that faith was regarded as the basis of Abraham’s approval by God. You must understand that people who have faith are Abraham’s descendants.

Scripture saw ahead of time that God would give his approval to non-Jewish people who have faith. So Scripture announced the Good News to Abraham ahead of time when it said, “Through you all the people of the world will be blessed.”

So people who believe are blessed together with Abraham, the man of faith.

⌞Christ paid the price⌟ so that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to all the people of the world through Jesus Christ and we would receive the promised Spirit through faith.
