This is real love — not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
1 John 4:10 NLT
God says, “Tell them I love them.”
“Tell them I care about them more than they know.”
“The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is their God, too.”
There is One True God. And He is for you. He is for me. He is for everyone. He wants none to perish.
The God that sacrificed the Lamb of God for us, to free us from bondage to sin, has loved us completely, forever. And His love never stops. His love never fails. His love won’t repent. God doesn’t change His mind. His love is not fickle like the love of humans.
He does not desire that anyone be tortured in hell for eternity, forever separated from His Presence. Yet, He leaves us with that choice. We have free will. Some love the darkness more than the Light.
When we choose Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, we inherit eternal life. When we abide in Christ, we experience eternal life.
God is love. Christ is the embodiment of God’s love in flesh. When we are clothed in Christ, the agape love of God, we are displaying that we are connected to the vine. The fruit of our connection is the love of God. Don’t disconnect yourself from God. Pray without ceasing. Abide in His love.
Abide in the peace of God. Abide in His joy. Live in God and God will live in you.
The God who loves the saints of old loves you. Whether you are a saint or a sinner today, God has something better for you. The fullness of His love made manifest in His obedient children, the Church of the Living God.
Come join the fun. Be a part of the Church. Love one another. Amen.
Father in Heaven, thank You for loving us from before the world began. Thank You for loving us with a transformational love that turns its container into the image and likeness of You. Thank You that we are loved by God. Let us shower the world around us with Your Love and Your Truth. Come Jesus, come. Fill Your Church with Your Heart of Love. Let us be good and faithful servants until the end. Amen.
Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.
No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.
And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.
