Three things will last forever — faith, hope, and love — and the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT
I have loved you with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to Myself.
For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up.
As it is written in the Scriptures, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.
John 6:44-45 NLT
The Truth of God is eternal. The Word of God is eternal. The Love of God is eternal.
For God is love and if His love abides in us, if His Spirit abides in us, if we love one another, then our hearts are assured that we have passed from death to life.
Live in the Truth. Live in His Love. Be clothed in Christ. Be clothed in love.
If we are not motivated by compassion, what we do and say is worthless. We are just adding more noise to the cacophony of life.
God is love. He draws us to Himself with His unfailing love, mercy and kindness. His kindness leads us to repentance. Love the sinner, hate the sin.
Know who your enemy is. It’s not flesh and blood. It’s an unclean, unholy spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. Deliverance is in order, not condemnation.
Keep on loving. Keep on praying for those who oppose the Cross of Christ. We are saved by grace alone by faith alone in Christ alone. He is our Passover Lamb. The blood of Christ is sufficient to spare us from death. He set us free. Now go, and set the captives free, because you love them and He loves them with love eternal.
Father in Heaven, forgive us for being impatient and short-sighted. Forgive us for thinking higher of ourselves than we ought to. We were all sinners who are being saved by grace. Lord, have Your way with us. Let us be the children of God. Let us love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. Let us set the captives free from the oppression of the evil one. Show Yourself strong to save, heal, deliver and sanctify Your People. Lead Your Church, O God, into full maturity in Christ. In Your Name we pray. Amen
Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
