In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:1 NLT
Trust God. He knows what He’s doing.
Fellowship with God. He knows what He’s talking about.
Walk with God. Allow Him to be your Lord and King day by day, moment by moment.
God is more than capable of leading us in our spiritual journeys to maturity in Christ while we reside as temporary residents in this temporary world.
The destination is what we put our hope in. God doesn’t lie. He doesn’t disappoint. He always keeps His Word. We’re going back to the start. How it all began. We’re going back to Jesus.
In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.
John 1:1-5 NLT
When you surrender your earthly identity to God, God starts living through you. When you’re baptized, you identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. The old is gone, the new has come. A new life begins, set on fire by the love of God. Glory to God!
Father in Heaven, set Your People on fire for You. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
For when I tried to keep the law, it condemned me. So I died to the law — I stopped trying to meet all its requirements — so that I might live for God. My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.
Galatians 2:19-21 NLT
