And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
Mark 16:15 NASB2020
I am alive, says the True and Living God.
I am able to fight your battles.
I have given you hope so that you will not perish in unbelief.
I am the God you serve.
God is alive. We can’t kill Him. We can deny Him and His authority, but that doesn’t change who He is.
So now what?
Preach the Gospel.
The fact that God is alive, He can be known, and He loves you is Good News.
Easter is a time of remembering the resurrection of Christ. Let’s not forget Him the next day by going back to business as usual. Let’s do things differently this year. Let’s remember Him everyday. Christ is our King. He makes us into a nation of priests.
Every believer has been given direct access to the Godhead through prayer. There is One Head, the Lord Jesus Christ. There is One Body of Christ, we are individual members thereof.
Let’s remember who we are and whose we are. We belong to Jesus now. He purchased us with His blood to free us from the power and penalty of sin. Let’s celebrate that. Let’s demonstrate that. Let’s welcome the lost and unbelieving world into the Kingdom of God by preaching the Gospel and making disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Teach them to hear and obey the Holy Spirit.
Leave the results up to God.
One plants.
Another waters.
God makes them grow.
The one who plants and the one who waters are nothing. They are just faithful servants. Jesus is everything.
Jesus lives.
And He loves you.
Father in Heaven, thank You for revealing Jesus Christ as Lord to our hearts and minds. Give us wisdom and lead us today by the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit. I pray that You give Your Church ears to hear what You are saying. Teach us to walk in Your ways. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned.
These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.
And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions. And after that, Jesus Himself also sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation.
