You will act on whatever you believe to be true. That’s why the enemy of your soul uses deception to trick you into believing a lie. If you believe the lie, you will act on it and become a pawn for the evil one. Don’t believe the lie.
Just believe God at His Word. That’s faith. Then act on whatever God reveals to you.
But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
James 1:22 NLT
Belief precedes action. We are saved by faith. When we believe for the first time that Jesus Christ is Lord, something happens. Our lives are forever changed for all eternity. We become a new creation in Christ. Old things pass away and all things become new.
Don’t fear dying. It’s only temporary. There is a resurrection of the dead. Jesus is the prototype of what it means to live your life for God. He proved that there is a resurrection and eternal glory for the faithful ones. He paved the way for us where there was no way. Now, follow Him.
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6 NLT
Just believe that Jesus is the Christ and you will live forever. Your body may perish but it will be raised to life again at the appearing of our Lord and Savior. We have nothing to fear, not even death.
Thanks be to God for the blood of the Lamb which covers all our sins, the sins of all humanity once and for all. There is no other sacrifice for sin. Jesus paid it all.
When we give our testimony, our confession of what we believe to be true, we are justified by our faith. No one can take your testimony away. Your experiences with God are real and cannot be refuted by any amount of doubt or false doctrine. Don’t be ashamed of your testimony. Don’t be ashamed of the Gospel of Peace.
God made peace between sinful humanity and a holy and righteous God by sacrificing His One and Only Son so that we might live in fellowship with God forever because of His great love for us. That’s grace, ladies and gentlemen. We don’t deserve it. We can’t earn it. We can only receive it as a free gift. Now, let’s express our gratitude until the whole world hears how good our God is. Amen?
What do you believe to be true? Your actions tell a story. Your words make a difference. Be faithful and true. He did it for me and He did it for you. Let’s be faithful and true for one another, too.
Dear children, love one another. Speak the truth in love. Heal the sick. Cast out demons. Preach the full gospel. Make disciples of Jesus. Rejoice in your salvation and wait patiently for the return of Our King and live forever in the Kingdom of God. Amen.
Father in Heaven, save us all through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. Put Your words in our mouths. Put Your Spirit in our hearts. Move us to say and do what You want us to. Let us not love our earthly lives unto death, but let us lay our lives down for our friends. Let us be the friends of God. In the Mighty Name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear.
