Open Hearts Open Minds

‭“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.”

John 14:12 NLT‬

Christ is the visible representation of the invisible God.

‭He is the exact living image [the essential manifestation] of the unseen God [the visible representation of the invisible], the firstborn [the preeminent one, the sovereign, and the originator] of all creation.

Colossians 1:15 AMP‬

Walking with God is about walking in agreement with the will of God in the moment.

Submitting to God’s will is the definition of obedience.

Disobedience is sin.

Christ never sinned. He only did what He saw the Father doing and only said what He heard the Father saying.

God is maturing His faithful ones into becoming true Christians. Christians in name only are not following the Holy Spirit’s leading. They’re the ones who do not obey God but instead walk in self-righteousness, pride and deception. Pray for them that the eyes of their understanding be opened.

True Christians who love God do what God tells them to do.

‭Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”

John 14:23 NLT‬

Being in a relationship with God is essential to being able to hear and obey God. Jesus is the prototype of what it means to be a son of God. He is the Son of God always and forever. We are learning to walk in sonship.

God gave us free will. You can choose, as an act of your free will, to surrender your earthly life to Christ. In a joy fueled response to the message of salvation, we surrender our earthly identities to manifest the divine life of God in earthen vessels.

The waters of baptism represent this turning away from carnality and embracing the life of God in the flesh.

No longer are we slaves to sin. God breaks the chains. He set us free. He heals us. He delivers us. He sanctifies us. He makes us holy as He is holy. He calls us forth to walk upon the troubled waters of life, but we do not sink. We stand in faith beholding Jesus, Our Lord and God. Our King reigns forever.

As we trust in Him, the Spirit guides us and teaches us and leads us into all truth.

I am stripping away the flesh nature and revealing the divine nature, says the Lord. My children obey Me because they love Me. I live in them and they live in Me. My Spirit abides in their hearts and their minds. My Name is Immanuel.

Open your heart to God. Invite Him in. Say, “Lord, my heart is yours. Fill me with Your Love. Fill my heart with Your Compassion towards humanity. Birth in me the desire to do what pleases You.”

Open your mind to God. Invite Him in. Say, “Spirit of the Living God, renew my mind. Give me the mind of Christ. I want to know Your thoughts. I want to say what You are saying to Your Church. I want to know how to partner with You in doing what You are already doing. Use me for Your Glory.”

God, give us clean hands, and give us pure hearts. Let us not lift our souls to another. Instead, lift our souls up to You. Seat us in heavenly places with You. Let us be the People of God, a people united in faith in Christ Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit, obediently walking in faith, doing the will of our Father in Heaven, showing the world that You are real and You are here, and that all are welcome in the Kingdom of God. It’s a free gift. The grace of God is for anyone and everyone who calls upon the Name of the Lord. Jesus saves us all. Amen.

‭Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
