The prophetic promises of God bring comfort to our hearts and minds. If God said it, it’s true. If you don’t see it yet, it’s on its way. Don’t be troubled. Hold on to hope.
God gave us the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit. It started on the Day of Pentecost and continues until the end of the age. It’s for everyone who asks for it. God’s not a liar. Ask, and you shall receive.
Having God living inside of you means that you can carry on an ongoing conversation with God without speaking a word. He knows your thoughts. He can hear what you’re thinking. He knows what you’re feeling. Nothing is hidden from God.
Ask Him a question in your mind. Then, listen. You can hear the Holy Spirit!
The peace that the world gives always costs you something and it’s always temporary.
The peace that God gives is a free gift and it’s yours permanently. We can experience His Peace in any circumstance. Jesus is our Peace. He sends the Comforter to live within us.
You can lose your awareness of peace momentarily. Usually, it’s when we let our ego self be in charge instead of the Spirit. When we start thinking we exist separately from God, then we can feel we are responsible to take care of things that are outside of our control. That would be anxiety inducing. The solution is to humble ourselves and trust God.
When we can’t make sense of life, remember that God’s ways are higher than our ways. He’s painting a big picture using all of humanity, pointing us all back to Jesus. Let’s all just be faithful little sheep that follow the voice of our Master. He’s the Good Shepherd.
Being troubled, anxious and afraid is a personal choice. You have the right to be disturbed, but why choose that for yourself? There’s a better way. Just trust, listen and obey.
God is your Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ is your Savior, Lord and Messiah. The Holy Spirit is your best friend who never leaves you and always has the right answers. You don’t even need to be talking to enjoy each other’s company. That’s wedded bliss without even having to get married.
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb is approaching but you don’t need to wait until then to enjoy a foretaste of Heaven here on Earth.
Let the Spirit guide your life and enjoy blessings you never knew existed or were possible. This is just the beginning! God’s not done with you yet!
Heavenly Father, we ask for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all flesh. Let us all be baptized in the Spirit of God. Forever change us from fleshly, carnal minded creatures into the gracious, peaceful ambassadors of Christ that You created us to be. Amen.
