Jesus is inviting us to come follow Him. So, let’s be going.
How do you reach the lost? How do you restore wandering sheep to the sheepfold?
What works? What really works?
Loving people. Right where they’re at.
We’ll never reach the lost unless we love them like the Father does. We’ll never have true fellowship with one another unless we love each other like Jesus loves us. We’ll find ourselves wandering aimlessly unless we’re being led by the Holy Spirit as Jesus was.
The ruler of this world has no power over us. Satan is defeated. He is under our feet. Don’t give a foothold to the enemy of your soul. Don’t give ear to his lies. Don’t let him deceive you into believing that you are meant to be part of the world.
You’ve been set apart. Be holy as God is holy.
We are in the world, but not of the world. Our citizenship is in Heaven. If you’re identifying with lesser things, you’ll do and say lesser things. That’s not God’s calling on your life. He wants you to be free. Free to love. Free to live. Free to do the will of your Father in Heaven.
Remember who you are. Remember whose you are. Remember you were purchased for a price. We belong to Jesus. He belongs to us. We are One family in God.
Don’t let the world force you into its mold.
Father in Heaven, send us where You want us to manifest the Kingdom of God and love people like You do. Fill our hearts with Your love and our mouths with Your words. Let us be salt and light. Amen.
