Everything’s Going To Be Okay

‭He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God.

Romans 4:25 NLT‬

Who makes us right with God? Jesus.

Do you believe that’s true? If you do, then you’re right with God. There’s nothing more that needs to be added to your faith to reconcile you back to God. You’re saved by faith, not by works. Our belief in God is what makes our relationship with God possible to be enjoyed.

Do you feel like you’re right with God? Then praise the Lord and thank Him for your salvation by living the rest of your life in uninterrupted fellowship with Him.  Some would call that praying without ceasing.

What if you don’t feel right with God? What if you have a guilty conscience? What if your fellowship with God is non-existent? Then, confess your sins and get on with life.

God’s not interested in punishing you unnecessarily. His interest is in redeeming you. He wants to restore you to fellowship with Himself. Christ died and rose again to make us right with God because God loves us and wants us to be with Him for eternity.

If you believe that, then you’re a believer. Welcome to eternity. You’ve been born again. Your body will die but you’ll be resurrected just like Jesus and given a body that doesn’t die. That’s Good News!

Now, there is no need to fear death because death cannot hold us. We’ve been set free from the law of sin and death. God is no longer counting our sins against us. We are no longer outcasts from the promises of God because of our failures.

We simply need to confess them to clear our conscience and remove the legal ground that the enemy uses to accuse us endlessly that we’re sinners undeserving of the goodness of God. The devil is a liar, just ignore him.

The new life in Christ is meant to be lived with God. With fellowship restored by grace and faith, not sacrifices and works, we enjoy the Presence of God in us. The Holy Spirit can lead us and guide us, all of us, every step of the way from here on out.

Don’t know what to do? Don’t know what to say? Pray and ask God. He will gladly tell you what’s best. You’re not on your own anymore. You can trust God. You can listen to God. You can obey God.

Obedience is not a bad thing when the One you’re obeying is your Heavenly Father who loves you with an undying love. Our obedience is to the Spirit of God, not a bunch of rules and regulations.

We have a relationship with God because of what Jesus did. Jesus is Lord. Submit to the Lord and you’ll never have to confess your sins anymore because the Spirit of God will never lead you to sin. Sin is disobeying God. It’s impossible for God to suggest that you do something counter to His will.

The more time you spend getting to know God personally, the more sure you are that you recognize His voice. Our sin interrupts our fellowship with God. Repent, confess your sins, walk in holiness. It’s better than the alternative.

Everything’s going to be okay. Just trust, listen and obey. That is the Way.

Father in Heaven, thank You for adopting us into Your Forever Family when we first believed. Forgive us of all our sins that we committed since then. We want to enjoy fellowship with You from here on out. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Lead us by Your Spirit into the full expression of Your Love. Let us be the Body of Christ that does what the Head communicates to us. Eliminate the influence of the enemy in our lives. In the Name of Christ Jesus we pray. Amen.

‭But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.
