You Have A Story To Tell

‭For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes — the Jew first and also the Gentile.

Romans 1:16 NLT‬

Everybody has a story. Stories are personal. People like a personal touch.

The Gospel is personal.

Stories about how the Gospel touched your life are called testimonies because testimonies are true and the Gospel is true.

If you have a story of how the Gospel came into your life and touched your life, and you know the Gospel, then you are equipped to do the work of an evangelist.

Your testimony validates the truth of the Gospel. It says, this really works! The Bible also validates the truth of the Gospel. It provides irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah. Where two or more witnesses agree, you can believe that testimony!

You have a story to tell. We all have stories, but the ones that talk about the transformational power of God are the ones that transform other people’s lives.

When you include an invitation to go deeper with God, to sink your roots down into the love of God, you’re rescuing people from the wide road of destruction. There is a narrow path, and Jesus leads the way. Would you like to make Jesus the Lord of your life today?

It’s that simple. Tell your story. Share the truth. Invite them to receive the Truth. Pray with them that they encounter the Truth today. Leave the results up to God.

In my humble opinion, today is the best day to walk by faith. Today is the best day to share your faith. Today is all we have. Let’s use the time we have left wisely.

Father in Heaven, prepare our hearts to glorify Your Name. Prepare our minds to tell of Your Glory. Help us to always be ready to tell our stories and Your Story, the greatest story ever told, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Amen.

‭This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”

Romans 1:17 NLT‬
