“I am the Alpha and the Omega — the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come — the Almighty One.”
Revelation 1:8 NLT
No one knows when the end will come. We just know that it will.
So be ready.
Now concerning how and when all this will happen, dear brothers and sisters, we don’t really need to write you.
For you know quite well that the day of the Lord’s return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night.
When people are saying, “Everything is peaceful and secure,” then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant woman’s labor pains begin. And there will be no escape.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 NLT
Don’t believe the lie that we’ll be raptured out of here before the tribulation. There is no rapture. Don’t get confused. Read the Bible.
Instead of quarreling and dividing over false teachings, do what Jesus did, obey your Heavenly Father.
Live each day intentionally abiding in the presence of God, doing His will from the heart.
Practice the Way of Christ.
Trust God, He cannot lie. Listen to God, He wants to fellowship with you. Obey God, and flee from sin.
Walking with God is the best! You will experience His loving, peaceful presence as you abide in the Truth. It’s not what the world does, but it works better.
Won’t you pray with me?
Father in Heaven, we love You and want to live our days here on Earth for You. Please accept my life as a living sacrifice, made holy and acceptable by the Word of God and prayer. Be near to me as I draw near to You daily. Fill me with Your Spirit. Fill me with Your Peace. Lead me by Your Spirit to say and do the things that bring joy to You. Be my God today and everyday, in the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us. Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever.
1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 NLT
