Learning To Walk

‭Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.

Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

Proverbs 3:5-7 NASB2020‬

Do you trust in the Lord with all your heart? Or do you lean on your own understanding?

Are you allowing God to lead you? Or are you walking a crooked path?

Are you wise in your own eyes? Or do you fear the Lord and turn away from evil?

If you want to experience the fullness of life, the abundant life of Christ, walk with Jesus as the Lord of your life. Nothing works better in my book.

Rather than having to lean on what you think or what somebody else says, lean on the Lord. He is the Almighty and All-knowing One. He’s got the best intel.

Go straight to the Source of Life itself for everything. God is alive and He can be known.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Acknowledge that He is God. Trust Him. Ask Him questions. Listen. Do what He tells you. That’s the cheat code for life.

What kind of questions do you ask God?

I like to ask Him what His will is concerning any decisions that I have to make.

Lately, He’s been giving me turn by turn directions while I’ve been driving. Sometimes, I ignore that still, small voice. Turns out, He’s right all the time. When I think I know better, I find myself stuck in traffic when I should have taken the unexpected, alternate route He told me to take a minute prior. I’m learning, but I’m still foolish sometimes.

Our daily walk of obedience to the voice of God is a matter of doing what’s best. God blesses us (and others) when we do what He tells us to.

When we disobey His instructions, we reap the consequences. Often, this means frustration and a lack of peace and joy.

It really is best to let God be the Lord of your life. He knows what He’s doing. You can trust Him.

I recommend listening to and obeying God at all times. The more you practice, the easier it becomes to know God as your loving Father and to walk with Him in the light of life.

Give it a try. Let me know what you think.

Lord, speak. Your servants are listening. Amen.

‭The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; All those who follow His commandments have a good understanding; His praise endures forever.
