If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9 NASB2020
If we confess, He will forgive.
If we do not confess, how can we receive forgiveness?
If we confess, He will cleanse us.
If we do not confess, how can we be cleansed of all unrighteousness?
Jesus wants to set us free. We simply have to choose Jesus over selfishness.
Have we seen the effects of selfishness in our society, in our families, in ourselves?
Let us repent of selfishness, turn from it, and return to following the Lord.
God knows what’s best for us. We can trust Him completely. He’ll never let us down.
Do we let God down? He will forgive. We simply need to confess and get back on the road of righteous living.
Come back home, My Children. Come back home, My wandering ones. I have seen your transgressions. Nothing is hidden from Me. You’re only hiding in your shame. You’re only ensnared by your sin. This is not the life I chose for you. Choose Me once again, confess your sins, and I will make you clean. You are loved, not condemned. It’s time to come home again. Come home to Me. I am the Lord God who saves the lost and rescues sinners from the grave.
Father in Heaven, have mercy on me, a sinner. I have wandered far from the Truth. I have served false gods of man-made origin. I have served the evil one by sinning against the God I love. Free me from evil desires. Free me from sin. I choose to repent of all my ungodly behavior. Forgive me, God, and I will be forgiven. I bow to You, O Lord, and no other. Break the chains of addiction. Break the chains of lustful sin. Purify my heart, O God. Cleanse me from within. In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen.
May the Lord Jesus Christ set you free this day. Amen.
You welcomed him back with success and prosperity. You placed a crown of finest gold on his head.
He asked you to preserve his life, and you granted his request. The days of his life stretch on forever.
Psalms 21:3-4 NLT
Dedicated to the prodigals and the fallen soldiers wandering far from home.
