It’s Time To Wake Up

‭This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

Romans 13:11 NLT‬

Considering the urgency of the hour, it’s time for the Church to wake up from her slumber.

‭Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.

Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

Ephesians 5:1-2 NLT‬

God’s will for our lives hasn’t changed. We’re meant to love one another. We make disciples who are known for their self-sacrificial love for one another.

Jesus loved His disciples. Jesus and His disciples spent almost every waking moment together. He was with them right until the end — and they deserted Him. He says, “Love like I do.”

This world is only temporary. Don’t be concerned about worldly things. The Kingdom of God is eternal. Live in the Kingdom now and forever.

Wake up! It’s time to rise and shine for the whole world to see.

Father in Heaven, wake up Your Church. Help us to see the opportunities all around us to be salt and light. Deliver us from a consumption mentality into being workers in Your harvest field. Cause the scales of worldliness that have blinded our eyes to fall off. Employ us in Your Kingdom advancing movement. All for Your Glory! Amen.

‭“But I assure you of this: If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods, worshiping and bowing down to them, you will certainly be destroyed. Just as the Lord has destroyed other nations in your path, you also will be destroyed if you refuse to obey the Lord your God.”

Deuteronomy 8:19-20 NLT‬
