No one has seen or imagined what the Spirit of the Lord is about to do.
The Father will establish His Kingdom in the hearts of mortal men and women. They will not bow down to the spirit of the world.
Instead, they will persist in this world. They will stand in faith. They will be lights in the darkness. They will be the burning ones that God uses to light a path to holiness and righteousness in Christ.
Nothing can stop the will of the Lord. He does as He pleases. We exist for His good pleasure — not our own.
Satan wants to destroy us. He is powerless to thwart the plan of God. Powerless. We have been given authority to pick up snakes and throw them out of the temple of God. We can cast out demons with a simple command and they have to obey. We can trample on scorpions. We can crush the spiritual forces of darkness under our feet.
Don’t walk outside of God’s will. Don’t be presumptuous about the authority and responsibility we have been given to transform the world around us. Submit completely to God and you will be in the center of His will.
As we fully surrender to God, Christ is fully expressed in us. The most powerful people are the most humble. Pride will destroy the careers and ministries of many. Don’t be another casualty of war. Pick up your cross and go to war daily against the evil forces that wage war against your soul.
God will do it. Whatever needs to be done. Trust Him completely. You don’t have to understand what’s going on. In the fog of war you just keep listening to your orders from your commanding officer.
Lord, we’re taking fire here! What is Your will for us? How do we respond? Take back what the enemy stole? Yes, Sir!
Walk in victory. Christ has already won the war. Sin and death have been defeated. He has given us eternal life. Though our bodies perish, our souls are united forever with the imperishable spirit of God. We will live on in glory. Our bodies will be resurrected. We cannot die. We simply change form. Take comfort in your eternal salvation. And return to the front lines.
The mission field is everywhere. It’s all around us. Who needs a touch or a word from God? See them. Go in the power and the presence of the Lord. Minister Christ to them. Amen.
Father in Heaven, we glorify You as Lord of Heaven and Earth. You created all things for Yourself. We abide in You through obedience to Your will. Your will is that we love. Your will is that we speak the truth in love. Quicken us to do Your will today and everyday. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
For the Lord will give justice to his people and have compassion on his servants.
