This letter is from Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I have been sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives.
This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God — who does not lie — promised them before the world began.
Titus 1:1-2 NLT
It’s time to wait upon the Lord.
It’s time to remember Our Savior, slain from before the foundations of the world.
It’s time to hold on to hope.
Our hope is in Heaven, His Name is Jesus.
He has chosen us, from before the foundations of the world, for salvation. He does not change His mind.
Our confidence is in the Living Word of God, the Son of God, the Son of Man, who cannot lie. If He said it, it will come to pass. If He made a promise, He cannot break it.
Jesus is coming back again. Prepare yourselves to receive the King of Glory.
Live holy lives and keep your lips from speaking deceit.
The King will come again to separate the wheat from the chaff, the sheep from the goats. Remember who you are. You were purchased for a price, the blood of Jesus. Christ is King over all Creation.
Father in Heaven, we glorify Your Name above every other name. You alone are worthy to be praised. Give us unwavering confidence that we will inherit eternal life. Let us live our earthly lives for Your glory. Amen.
Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.
