Freedom To Stand

Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

Ephesians 6:11 NASB2020

The Truth will always defeat a lie. Jesus is the Truth and in Him there is no darkness at all. Christ cannot lie, because that would be inconsistent with His character.

The enemy of our souls is out to kill, steal and destroy. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.

When we participate in the deeds of darkness, we become partners with the evil one. This opens the door for the enemy to come in and set up a stronghold in our lives. Deliverance is the key to freedom in these situations.

With a simple command, believers can cast out demons. We have that authority. It’s included in our inheritance in the Kingdom of God. It is my opinion that every believer can and should be trained in deliverance ministry.

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin. A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.”

John 8:34-36 NLT

Jesus came to set the captives free. He has commissioned us to carry on His ministry here on Earth.

Do you see people bound in addictions and compulsive behaviors? They need Jesus, not judgment. Do you see people paralyzed by anxiety, fear, worry, guilt, shame and condemnation? They need the Gospel, not finger pointing and tongue wagging.

We will not see the fullness of the harvest come in until we equip every believer to be an effective minister. It’s not difficult. It just requires us to change our focus from maintenance to multiplication.

Do you believe? Then God can use you to change the world, one soul at a time. Walk in freedom. Help others find freedom. Prepare the way for the Lord’s return!

Father in Heaven, redeem Your Church. Equip Your Church. Rescue Your Church from the grip of the enemy. In the Name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious].
