If You Want To Change The World, Quit Complaining & Start Praying

Always be joyful.

Never stop praying.

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Do not stifle the Holy Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-19 NLT

Is the Holy Spirit a complainer?

No. He encourages us with the truth.

Therefore, if we’re complaining, we’re not glorifying God, nor are we being led by the Holy Spirit. So stop it.

Repent to holiness.

How do we do that?

Prayer.

Prayer is talking with the Almighty. He has the ability to change things. After all, He’s All-Powerful.

Prayer works because God is always listening.

God is always working for good. We just need to align ourselves with God’s heart, mind and will.

The world loves to complain because the devil controls the world and he wants nothing more than more darkness and destruction. Don’t be the devil’s foot soldier.

Stomp out evil’s influence in your life.

Let Me help you, says the Lord. I will take the things you can’t overcome and crush them like straw.

When we confess our shortcomings to God, He forgives us. He cleanses us of all unrighteousness. Unconfessed sin festers and rots out our souls. Where living water should be flowing, there is only bitterness and sorrow. That’s no way to live.

Walk with Jesus.

Walk in the Light.

Pray that God’s will be done. He will gladly answer that prayer!

Father in Heaven, turn our hearts and our attention from the things which bring us sorrow to the One who gives us joy. Forgive us for murmuring and complaining when it was never our place to do that. Let words of life be on our tongues, blessing not cursing. To the glory of God the Father we pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I have seen wicked and ruthless people flourishing like a tree in its native soil. But when I looked again, they were gone! Though I searched for them, I could not find them!

Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace. But the rebellious will be destroyed; they have no future.
