Fellowship In Christ

We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

1 John 1:3 NLT

Why was the early Church so attractive to new believers? Because they were all devoted to obeying God, fellowship, sharing what they had with each other and praying together.

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.

Acts of the Apostles 2:42 NLT

When you love people as yourself, seeing that you are joined in fellowship with Christ, generosity comes naturally. The Body ministers to itself fueled by compassion.

Fellowship is oneness with God and each other. It is rooted in love, the love of Christ.

So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father.

1 John 2:24 NLT

Our fellowship with God is where we enjoy eternal life. When we testify to what we have seen and heard from God, we invite others to experience fellowship with us.

You don’t have to wait until you’re dead to live in fellowship with God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. The Kingdom is now and forever.

Father in Heaven, open the eyes and ears of Your Bride so that she can see and hear You and proclaim the truth. Let us be one as Jesus and the Father are one. Amen.

And in this fellowship we enjoy the eternal life he promised us.
