It’s best to keep things simple. Why complicate things right? Do you want eternal life? All you need is Jesus. Do you want an abundant life? All you need is Jesus.
When we speak of Jesus, we mean Jesus of Nazareth. He was born and died and resurrected. He is the Son of God.
Everything you need in life comes from Him. Go to Him first with all your needs and questions. He is the Wonderful Counselor. He won’t lead you astray, I promise.
Trust me when I say that no one but Jesus can meet all your needs in this lifetime and the next. Make Him the Lord of your life and He will lead you and guide you on a daily basis.
He can be known. You can hear His voice. Listen for that little whisper in your mind when you pray. That’s the Holy Spirit speaking. Grow in your relationship with God and enjoy the fruit of abiding in His unfailing love.
Father, thank You for revealing Jesus Christ as Lord to our hearts and minds. Let Him be preeminent in all things. We lay our lives down to live for Christ this day. To God be the glory. Amen.
Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of these men who heard what John said and then followed Jesus. Andrew went to find his brother, Simon, and told him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means “Christ”).
