The cross is not only the instrument of Christ’s death.
It is the architecture of Kingdom life.
It reveals how a believer lives in the world — anchored, surrendered, and reaching.
Above the Cross — The King
At the top is the declaration: King of Kings.
This represents Christ’s authority and reign.
Everything begins here.
He is King whether mocked or worshiped.
His reign is not determined by human response.
Your life is lived under His Lordship — not your own.
The Center — The Crucified Life
At the center is the surrendered life.
To follow Him is to embrace daily dying:
- Dying to pride
- Dying to self-rule
- Dying to retaliation
Not self-destruction — but Spirit-led surrender.
This is participation in His cross, not replacement of it.
The Cross Beams — Arms Outstretched
The horizontal beam represents the lives you touch.
Living with arms wide open.
You will stand between responses — just like Jesus stood between two thieves.
Same proximity to Christ.
Same suffering.
Different choices.
One recognized the King.
One rejected Him.
This is the world.
You will encounter both.
Your calling is not to control who responds — but to keep reaching.
Faithfulness over outcomes.
Beneath the Ground — Grace Holding You Up
The buried portion of the cross represents unseen grace.
The finished work.
The descent before exaltation.
The price already paid.
Grace anchors you deep enough to keep your arms open — even when rejection happens.
Without grace below, the beams collapse.
The Kingdom Pattern
- Above you: His reign
- Within you: Surrender
- Around you: Mixed responses
- Beneath you: Sustaining grace
The cross is not only where Jesus died.
It is the pattern of how Kingdom people live:
Anchored in grace.
Ruled by the King.
Crucified to self.
Reaching left and right.
Unmoved by who responds — because the foundation is secure.
